Our Amalfi coast shore excursion from the port of Amalfi is ideal for lovers of beauty, nature and fashionable places. The first stop of our trip will be in the beautiful city of music, the city of Ravello, a medieval city on the hills above Amalfi.
Here you can visit Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, two medieval villas with beautiful landscaped gardens and beautiful terraces where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf. The most famous is the "Terrace of infinity", considered the world's most beautiful terrace.
The second stop of our shore excursion is Amalfi, the maritime capital of the coast, with the famous Duomo di Sant'Andrea. Here you can stroll around to do some shopping and taste the pastries and lemon ice cream products with quality "sfusato amalfitano" lemons that grow abundantly in the area.
The third stop is in Positano, the most fashionable and touristic town on the Amalfi coast, where you can visit the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta with its characteristic tiled dome and the Roman Villa, discovered underneath the Church, which was destroyed by an earthquake during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. In the coastal town, you can find the famous artisan shops overflowing with colourful pottery, leather sandals and linen clothing, you can enjoy a fresh lemon ice cream at one of the many trendy cafés or you can stroll along the beach, one of the most famous and most photographed beaches in the world.
